The Community Strategies to Advance Reproductive Justice and Equity (CARE) Lab is committed to driving real change in Reproductive and Birth Justice through community-led research. We unite local community members, learners, institutional partners, and healthcare professionals to uncover the root causes of reproductive health inequities and develop practical, justice-centered solutions.
With a focus on supporting Black and Indigenous communities most affected by these challenges, we train future leaders in community-driven research, create innovative programs, and collaborate with partners to ensure research extends beyond academic institutions—creating tangible impact where it matters most.
By integrating science, lived experience, and advocacy, we aim to shift power, improve outcomes for families, women, birthing people, and communities, and build a future where reproductive care is safe, dignified, and just for all.
